A set of Sinclair C5 gearbox removal shims. These six shims can be used to open up the "fingers" on the gearbox mount to release the gearbox itself. The shims have ridges to ensure they are fitted in straight. The depth of each shim is the minimum needed to be able to release the gearbox - especially important for those who are working on the older brittle grey gearbox mounts that are prone to snapping.
Each set of shims are joined by elastic which keeps them together and stops them flying all over the workspace when the gearbox is released.
Handy convenient tool to have to hand.
Top Tip: Always service your gearbox and motor when you buy a C5. All that grease is dry after years of storage and running the motor will melt the internal planetary gears.

Note: You are buying the shims (orange) not the gearbox mount and gearbox.
