This thin spanner is essential for setting wheel bearing preload (tightness). Cone nuts on the front and rear wheels must be preloaded and then held in place whilst the locking nut is tightened over the top. Standard spanners dont fit and this is the answer for anyone who doesnt have the original C5 tool kit.
